Whereas the previous picture was one of KNil when he first got started with his physical therapy, this is more towards the end. He's already enrolled in p0|!c3 5k00| and is really getting the hang of his new legs. That's Physical Therapist David down there; he threw the can in the air (behind KNil) and told KNil to catch it mid-air. KNil kinda overdid the jump, but he'll definitely get it. I really enjoyed posing this one, especially after I traded in his hat and other hair for Mitsu hair (which is pretty easy to work with).

She may be a cyborg too, but Lee wouldn't be able to keep up with KNil!

KNil's more along the lines of the kind of cyborg you'd find in Shirow Masamune's stuff, like GITS. In fact, the whole Section Zero stuff I've been working on was HEAVILY influenced by GITS.

Shirow's stuff is pretty full-on. I haven't bothered with any of the GITS anime, but I do have the manga for both that and Appleseed. If you picture Bri with a youthful, wild-haired, human head, you'd have a pretty good idea of what Hayes from my Bright Future story looks like. There'd be borgs like that in Lee's universe too. Lee just isn't one of them. Her stuff is designed to make her tougher, not stronger, if you get the difference.

Yeah, I get it (although I forget who Bri is just now). As in she could fall from twenty stories, get up and dust herself off as opposed to JUMP up twenty stories (which would still probably be out of KNil's reach ;) ). I haven't read the manga for either GITS or Appleseed, but I saw the movie of the later and loved it. It was cell-shaded 3D, and it was interesting enough for me to want to read the manga.

Bri is the big "rabbit ear" borg that is Deunan's boyfriend and partner.

Ah, yes, I remember now (although I'd obviously forgotten his name)! I always thought those ears were adorable!...and possibly a bad choice to put on a combat cyborg/robot, since they're so cute.

His ears have sensors in them. He can poke the tip of one past a corner, and the cameras inside let him look around, without putting himself in the line of fire!
