Not exactly exciting, I realize, but I'm puttin' this one up mostly for critique's sake. I've been wanting a really good shadowy thingy for my underwater scenes (and I don't plan on spending any money on it at the time), so I fixed this up. I mounted a plane to a light, adjusted the distance, and made a custom trans map just for it. Let me know what you think of it (too flat, not ripply enough, etc.). Thankies!

Seems like a good try, but I don't know that it looks exactly right. It looks like you have made lines/ridges in the shadow map to block light, but I think an actual underwater scene might be the opposite, where the lines and ridges are where the light is focused.
I don't really know. I'm just working based on memory of past underwater images I have seen.
